What Lactis is
Lactis is a liquid product based on an extract of lactic acid bacteria. It is obtained by fermentation and then filled into individual 10 ml ampoules; a pack holds 30 ampoules.
The composition contains no live bacteria, colourings, preservatives or sugar. Its action is linked not to colonising the gut with microorganisms but to their metabolic products, formed during fermentation.

How it acts
The base of the composition
The base consists of a lactobacillus extract fermented on soy milk, together with citric and lactic acids and mineral water. No ingredients of animal origin are present.

The gut barrier
