What Retinalamine is

Retinalamine is a preparation based on a complex of low-molecular-weight, water-soluble peptides obtained from retinal tissue. Its active principle is not a single substance but a mixture of related fractions.

It is supplied as a lyophilisate for solution for injection: 5 mg per vial, 10 vials per pack. The powder is dissolved immediately before it is given.

The product is classed as a tissue-specific bioregulator. Its peptides are considered close to the signalling molecules that regulate retinal cell metabolism and repair.

How Retinalamine acts
